The Heart of Deep River Historical Society is a volunteer organization devoted to  community engagement through collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of communities that have surrounded North Carolina’s lower Deep River region. Through educational and community outreach programs we hope to instill pride, ownership, and care of our community for current and future generations.
